Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes

Hey Guys :)
So decided to have a sort of theme to my blog as I think my life is quite boring to just chat about. I'm going to do sometime reviews and as this is my first one it may be rubbish but hey I tried XD.

Lego Batman 2: DC superheroes
Platform: 3DS
Manufacturer: TT Games
Format: Action-adventure

As Batman returns in this much awaited sequel he brings back some friends to help him rid the streets of Gotham of evil, these friends include: Robin, Superman, Wonder woman, Green Lantern, Flash and Cyborg. Against the popular gameplay of Lego games the characters actually speak :0 this isn't the only change that Lego have made as the game it is now one continuous story expanding brick by brick as your free to roam the city of Gotham. Roaming is made easier by the choice of an unlockable vehicles including the batmobile, Batwing and batboat. The dynamic duo of Batman and Robin confront a variety of villains before the final battle with the infamous Joker.
The difficult of the game is generally easily with some puzzles when you meet the Riddler, the difficulty is unchangeable. It is enabled to be played online; 1-2 players are able to play on local networks and is available on streetpass vs or co-op. Both players must have the game card to play online.
With a game rating of 7 meaning it is suitable for people over the age of 7, however due to the nature of the game there is a lot of violence and fighting.
Chapters in this game are quite short and the game seems to be over before you know it. I finished the game within 3 days this is between  a full time time and other commitments. During these three days I was able to save the game and pick up where I let of proving I had met a save point.
The game allows you to switch characters meaning you can carry out special moves needed complete special tasks. After each level that is unlocked it is available for free play although I believe  it would be too boring to replay the game over and over as it is transport and you would come to the same conclusion each time.
Navigating within the game is simple and gaming remote controls are relatively easy providing you've the right character to preform the action; sometimes I found this quite difficult to remember which character had which special move and you have to switch through all of them find out which one you need.
The graphics the game are to a high quality and the 3d on this game is awesome, images are not lifelike which is displayed on the cover of the game, it is a cartoon which is traditional with the Lego collection of games. The sound is very clear however sound effects do not sound real. However characters do speak in this game and they're very clear. A lotof the time I find the backing music on games very irritating but this one I did not, although it is not wise to have volume on in socially awkward situations such as the bus :/ and dont make your own sound effects people do look at you like you've escaped the asylum :(
It has a strong story line and many cut scenes proceeding each chapter in the story; some say cut scenes are a bit of a rest before the next challenge. However dont think that this is a particularly challenging one; the cut scenes added a bit of excitement to the game, As they engage interest and are action packed.
The manuals that come with the game are the usual controls and agreements that are in every game I do not think these are necessary as everything in these booklets are in the game and you are reminded at certain points in the game.

I give this game ♥♥♥/♥♥♥♥. I brought this game as have an unhealthy obsession with batman and my expectations of the game were a higher then what I experienced. I did however enjoy the game and the challenges it presented. I liked the fact there was an aray of characters withered own special moves and the fact they speak was an added bonus. This game is more suited to younger children and many children will enjoy this game. Overall a good gaming experience, a good buy and definately a recommended game!
